This film follows Vers (Brie Larson), a Kree warrior tasked with hunting Skrull shapeshifters across space. After one such mission goes awry, she discovers her past life as Carol Danvers and begins her mission anew.
It is hard to judge how child friendly this movie is; there is plenty of dialogue and some scenes may be quite obvious; but, overall, the film does not contain excessive bloodshed or violence, nor any explicit sexual content or uncomfortable bedroom scenes.
Story-wise, the film is fairly straightforward; however, there are some fun Easter eggs and plot holes fillers for fans to discover. Unfortunately, however, its story lacks depth due to a lack of character development within Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
