Latest News – Actor Park Seo Joon Joins The Marvels
Park Seo Joon never ceases to impress fans with his amazing acting talent and gentlemanly demeanor, earning much praise recently from those attending an event where idol IU made an appearance.
Fight for My Way and Itaewon Class star Cho will return to audiences this summer with disaster movie Concrete Utopia, as well as sports film Dream which sees him portraying an ex-footballer on probation who coaches homeless individuals to compete in the Homeless World Cup tournament.
The Marvels
South Korean actor Park Seo Joon has joined Oscar winner Brie Larson’s forthcoming superhero sequel The Marvels as yet unnamed character – leaving fans excited and anticipatory of seeing what role he will take on in the film. His presence alone is sure to excite audiences!
Based around The Beastie Boys’ Intergalactic Planetary, this trailer sees Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and their friend Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) switch places with Jersey City fan Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani). Samuel L. Jackson and Zawe Ashton also make appearances.
The Marvels is set to hit theaters on November 10, and is the first standalone Marvel Studios film since Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Although originally scheduled for release this summer, due to scheduling conflicts it has been postponed until November 10. Nonetheless, The Marvels looks set to make up for any delays; its star Park makes her Hollywood debut. She previously appeared in various local projects as well as Netflix drama Annarasumanara which examines spiritual themes with comedic one-liners and musical numbers.
Concrete Utopia
Park Seo Joon, best known for playing a narcissistic CEO in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and participating in four-day televised vacations with BTS member V and actor Park Hyung Sik, has become one of Korea’s most beloved actors. He’s been seen in hits like Concrete Utopia (starring Park Bo-young) and Dream ( starring singer IU).
Directed by Uhm Tae-Hwa, the film follows survivors as they find refuge in Hwang Goong Apartment Building following an earthquake. The teaser poster for this film shows only Hwang Goong Apartment being standing, sparking viewer interest further. Lee Byung-Hun (Y Young Tak) does everything he can to protect it against external threats as Young Tak.
The film will premiere in August and features three fresh actors that promise to add an exciting flair. Stay tuned for updates!
Dream
Park Seo-joon has an ambitious 2018 ahead of him. He’s set to star in disaster movie Concrete Utopia and sports comedy Dream alongside singer/actress IU, in addition to appearing in domestic TV dramas Fight for My Way and Itaewon Class.

Seo-joon is seen wielding a sword while being supported by people wearing horned masks ready to charge someone; later he appears wearing an elegant outfit featuring shoulder pads that resemble wings – suggesting his MCU character won’t be easygoing either.
Gyeongseong Creature
Park Seo-joon has quickly become one of Korea’s most in-demand actors since debuting as a narcissistic CEO in drama What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim in 2012. Since then he’s gone on to star in disaster movie Concrete Utopia and sports comedy Dream alongside singer IU. 2023 promises another busy year for him with sci-fi thriller Gyeongseong Creature, sports comedy Itaewon Class and MCU film The Marvels all on tap for 2023 release.
Netflix announced on January 17 that Park will star in their upcoming drama Gyeongseong Creature, set during spring 1945 and featuring Han So-hee (Alienoid: Little Women), Wi Hajun (Alienoids: Age of Ultron: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Claudia Kim (Avengers: Age of Ultron: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Claudia Kim and Claudia Kim.
Park Seo Joon will also return to the big screen for the first time since Itaewon Class with Dream, set for release April 16th and focusing on a group who take part in playing soccer for homeless World Cup tournament.
